K-9 Units are Used to Search for Clues
July 23, 2014
Police distributed a press release indicating that a K-9 search had been conducted again west of Pueblo. To the dismay of Kelsie's family and friends, again nothing noteworthy was found and the search continues to be ongoing. This was also the first press release issued that identified Kelsie as pregnant.

Family Posts Response to Denver Post Article

Pueblo PD Remind Public that Case is Still Active and Boyfriend is Person of Interest
January 16, 2014
The Pueblo PD issued a press release on their Facebook page with 10 points about the Kelsie Schelling Investigation. Number 6 states that Kelsie's "boyfriend has been, and continues to be a 'person of interest,'" an announcement that was quoted by the press several months prior.

Pueblo PD Officially Declare Foul Play

The Pueblo PD issued a press release stating that they believe Kelsie has met with foul play. This statement was issued exactly one day before Kelsie's due date.

Kelsie's Vehicle is Located
February 14, 2013
Kelsie's 2011 Chevrolet Cruze LTZ is found at St. Mary Corwin Hospital in Pueblo. It had been abandoned in the parking lot Feb. 7 and sat there for a week. Below is a photo of the hospital's location at 1008 Minnequa Ave, Pueblo, CO and a photo of a 2011 Chevrolet Cruz. (This is not an actual photo of Kelsie's car; however Kelsie's vehicle looks identical to this.)


Kelsie's Missing Person Case is Released to the Public

Kelsie's description and information is released to the public on Feb. 11. The media helps spread the word of her disappearance. Her photos are made public and her Facebook page is created to help create awareness.
